Working with refs

Okay, you may laugh at me now, but this is the very first time I've been using actual photos of actual persons to draw something. And...... it's fun.
Still, I feel like a lousy little copycat, OTL. I need to draw more with refs to actually get a hang of human anatomy (AFTER ALL THIS TIME), but still, it feels like I'm... just copying something.

OH WELL. Need to try harder.

Updated header + sketches! ♥

Time for a kinda big entry!
Should've updated my header waaay back, but I just liked it how it was. (it was my Tanabata entry for the KakaIru club on DeviantART)
Right now, I'm using an edited version of my deviant ID picture, which is on deviantART, as well. Thought it'd be nice to share, since I like it a lot. ♥
